Information We Collect

We collect what we need to take an order and get it to you. That is your name, email address, delivery address, billing address and phone number if you give one. Payment details go straight to our payment processor and are not stored by us beyond the last 4 digits of the card. We also receive standard technical data when you browse, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

How We Use Your Information

We use your details to process and dispatch your order, to send order and delivery updates, to answer support enquiries, and to handle returns and refunds. We use technical data to keep the site working and to understand which pages people use. We send marketing email only to people who have opted in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.

Third-Party Sharing

We share data with the parties needed to complete your order and run the site: our ecommerce platform, our payment processor, the shipping carrier that delivers your parcel, and our analytics provider. Each receives only what it needs for its part. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. Some are necessary for the site to function and cannot be turned off. Others are analytics cookies you can decline through the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart may stop working correctly if you block the necessary ones.

Data Security

Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection, and our ecommerce platform and payment processor maintain their own security certifications, including PCI DSS compliance for card handling. Access to customer data on our side is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders and answer support. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim ours is.

Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle returns, refunds and any tax or accounting obligation that applies to the sale. Support correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Children's Privacy

We sell clothing for babies, but our customers are adults. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete the record.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our data practices change. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies to you.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws, we collect the following categories:

• Identifiers. Name, email address, postal address, phone number, IP address.
• Customer records. Billing and delivery address, order history.
• Commercial information. Products purchased, considered or returned.
• Internet activity. Browsing on our site, pages viewed, referring source.
• Geolocation. Approximate location derived from IP address.

We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, or the categories of sensitive personal information defined by those laws.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold it in the preceding 12 months. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those laws define sharing. Where you have consented to analytics cookies, the data those cookies collect is used to understand site usage and not to build an advertising profile of you elsewhere.

Your Privacy Rights (US)

If you live in California or another state with comparable law, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, the right to request a copy, the right to have it corrected, the right to have it deleted, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. Exercise any of these by emailing support@babybluefashion.com. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower standard of service for exercising them.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of. If that changes, we will publish an opt-out mechanism on this page and in the footer before any such sale or sharing begins. State-Specific Disclosures

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with comprehensive privacy laws hold rights comparable to those described above, including access, correction, deletion and opting out of targeted advertising. Some of those states also give you a right to appeal a refused request.
